Rink update Dec 31, 2024 – Rink is open for use by the public!
The community rink is operated and maintained using volunteer labour and community funds. Please help out where you can!
Please shovel when done skating – scrape and shovel snow off the ice to the west side of the park. (Don’t just push the snow against the boards). Shovels are left out at the rink for everyone to use.
Rink Rules and Guidelines:
- Users assume all risks when on or near the rink.
- Helmets are recommended.
- Supervised family skate time is dedicated to skating only; no sticks, pucks, rings, or balls.
- Supervised family skate time will be cancelled when temperature including windchill is less than -25 degrees C.
- Rink is closed at 10pm. Lights are on until 10pm.
- Please be respectful of others, the rink and the building. No rough play, foul language or inappropriate behaviour.
- Share the ice surface and nets; they are there for everyone’s enjoyment!
- Please don’t use the rink during extremely cold or warm weather.
- Please report any maintenance or safety concerns to the community association.

Amenity Building

The City of Saskatoon has provided an amenity building that will double as the rink shack and the rink’s water supply. The amenity building can only be opened if we have a volunteer available to supervise! If you would like to volunteer as a skate supervisor, email rink@ourstonebridge.ca.

Through the fall and winter, we will be continuing to pursue fundraising opportunities for the rink. If you own or work for a (preferably Stonebridge-based) business or want to be involved in the construction of the rink by sponsoring, partnering or donating either in-kind or financially, we have an extended window to make an impact and build the best possible rink for our neighbourhood. Contact rink@ourstonebridge.ca to get involved!
To acknowledge the support and contributions of our community members towards our rink build, the Stonebridge community association will be mounting a donor recognition board near the rink entrance once it is built, and we will also be offering rink board sponsorships, where businesses will have the opportunity to have their logo displayed on the inside boards of the rink.
DONOR RECOGNITION BOARD:
- Weather-proof engraved signage, installed near rink entrance once rink is built
- Donation recognition levels: $250-499; $500-999; $1000-4,999; $5,000+; $10,000+
We are a non-profit organization, not a charity, so donations will not eligible for tax receipts.
RINK BOARD SPONSORSHIP
- Rink boards are 4’ x 8’.
- Logo can be full-colour printed on 1/4″ puckboard.
- PRICING: $2000 for 3 year installation
