Spring Outdoor Soccer

Soccer Coordinator needed!

Stonebridge community association has an upcoming vacancy for the soccer coordinator position.  We will not be able to open registration for the outdoor soccer season until a new soccer coordinator has volunteered to take on this role! This is an administrative position, and no soccer skills or knowledge are required.

The soccer coordinator is responsible for working with Saskatoon Youth Soccer Inc. to register the Stonebridge community teams for U5, U7 and U9, and also to handle kinder soccer registration.  The soccer coordinator is responsible for finding coaches for each team, coordinating practice times for the soccer season, and also managing the soccer equipment.
The Stonebridge soccer program is popular and is a great benefit to the community, but we can’t run it without some help!   Soccer is a great form of exercise for kids and the community program provides opportunities to socialize with neighbourhood families and make new friends!

Volunteering for the community association can be a rewarding experience as it allows you to give back to your community and make a positive impact on the people and the environment around you. Additionally, volunteering can also help you develop new skills, meet new people, and gain a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment.   We would ask the soccer coordinator for a 1 year commitment – one outdoor season, which has registrations in Feb & March and runs in May & June, and one indoor season, which has registrations in Aug & Sept and runs from Oct to March.
